Fernne Kane cut to the chase when it came to starting her career in
advertising. Shortly after graduating from U. of T. in Languages and

Fernne’s background in theatre, voice-overs, and music training at the
Royal Conservatory of Music, has served her well. She brings a
dramatic flair to her radio ads. Her print campaigns and web
productions are always eye-catching.
Fernne has built and retained a large client base, producing
successful advertising for over 15 years. Her strategic thinking and
tactical planning have delivered results beyond clients' expectations.
Over the years Fernne’s client list has comprised of a broad range of
businesses and professionals, such as Bayview Village Shopping Centre,
Fortune Financial, law firms, dental firms, cosmetic surgeons,
bankruptcy trustees and retailers.
It all started at a small 5000 watt radio station, writing
everything from soup to nuts. Next stop, Kert Advertising, the
largest retail advertising agency in Canada where Allen developed
some of the retail industry’s most memorable campaigns for such
clients as Shoppers Drug Mart, Peoples Jewellers and the Hudson’s
Bay Company. Soon Leo Burnett Direct came knocking. For the next
two years, Allen honed his skills in Direct Marketing, winning
countless awards as well as getting results for such clients as
Visa, Nintendo, Hallmark, and Allstate Insurance.
He then went on to become Creative Director of Blitz Direct and
Promotion, leading the troops in creating results-oriented direct
mail campaigns for such clients as Bell Canada, Bell ExpressVu,
McDonald’s, and Saab. Allen still has a passion for great ideas
and is committed to making sure clients get the most intrusive and
effective creative possible.
